About
Alive Community Network – Meeting People’s Needs

In 2002, Alive Community Network was founded by a group of young professionals of Alive Community Church. They were concerned about students from low income households who seemed to have many family related problems which made it difficult for them to concentrate on their studies. This led the group to consider a number of small initiatives to help some of these students who were in the vicinity of Tiong Bahru. We are a Volunteer Welfare Organisation which is a member of the National Council of Social Services. ACN is an Institution of Public Character (IPC) and as such donations to its causes are tax deductible.

Over the last 10 years, ACN has been anchoring programs to help families through financial aid, tuition services, youth programmes and marriage and family counselling. Today the network runs several programmes, many of them focussed on developing young people and their families.
