Nursing Home

Our first nursing home started at the pavilion wards in 1999.

The residents staying in our home are semi-ambulant, wheelchair-bound or bed bound and some have other medical conditions. They come from a low socio-economic background and require high social as well as emotional support. They receive nursing care and/ or assistance in activities of daily living as well as participate actively in a structured rehab program to achieve better quality of life.

Today, Ren Ci operates two nursing homes in the heartlands, one at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8 with 472 beds and the other at Bukit Batok Street 52 with 257 beds.

Admission Guide

Admission to any Ren Ci Nursing Homes is strictly by referral through the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), a centralised government agency that monitors the availability of beds across all ILTC (Intermediate and Long Term Care) facilities in Singapore. The AIC helps families look for suitable care options in Singapore. To apply for admission, you will need to consult a social worker at the hospital or polyclinic, and they would assist you in submitting an application to AIC. Please note that a copy of the total household income (where the applicant is registered under) and identification are required for the application.

Please click Agency for Integrated Care to read more about the various types of eldercare services available.

Cost Reference

The monthly charges for nursing home services will cost an estimated price range of $700 – $2418 after subsidy. The amount of subsidy depends on the means test and the classification of care needs (Resident Assessment Form) based on functional capabilities of the residents (ie, whether they needed assistance with feeding, dressing, bathing, walking and supervision of medications). Additional charges include a one-time refundable deposit and administrative charges. Other charges which are not covered by the basic cost may also apply.

You may speak to a medical social worker if you need more information on financing matters.

Visitation Hours

We recognise the importance of support for our seniors during their recovery period.

In consideration of current covid-19 situation,

No visitors are allowed.

These measures are taken in tandem with current MOH’s advisory and will be reviewed at the end of “circuit breaker” measures.
